First attempt.
I have been wanting to try designing my blog for a while. For now I am just experimenting to figure out how everything works (headers, backgrounds, etc). I am also exploring designing my own patterns. Though it still needs ALOT of work (especially colors) I think this is a good start...

It is amazing! I love your header and the colors are so fun!
I'd like to do the same thing, but I have no idea how you make your own backgrounds. I have sort of figured out the header, but that's it.

What font is that ampersand in? The blog looks good, but it still isn't quite "Emily" enough. Maybe some of Uncle Barney's stripes... :)
